Orphan. Guardian. Daughter of the Mad Titan. To say Gamora has a colorful past is putting it lightly. This Guardians of the Galaxy hero has made many alliances—and burned just as many bridges.

Quick origin:

First Appearance: Strange Tales #180

Gamora was the sole survivor of her species and was rescued by Thanos. The Mad Titan raised and trained her, using her as a tool to destroy his enemies. Fast forward in time, Gamora becomes an enemy to Thanos, and joins many different groups over time—most notably, the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Powers and whatnot:
Gamora was physiologically enhanced by Thanos, Adam Warlock, and Black Vortex. She boasts superhuman strength, speed, stamina, agility, reflexes, and even has a fast healing ability like Wolverine.
She is often noted as being the most dangerous assassin in the Milky Way, and is a skilled martial artist, marksman, and weapons master.
What makes her so special?
Besides her incredibly lengthy, and—to be fair—checkered past, Gamora is a true symbol of independence and strength. Though she can play nice with others, she’s just as efficient on her own as she is with allies. It takes a serious gut check to be the last member of your species.
Gamora has appeared in several Hasbro lines, each showcasing a different iteration of her character. Look for the Guardians of the Galaxy Wave 2 Gamora figure this year!
